DAVID KNUTSEN

Varsity Boys Cross Country Head Coach

Knutsen has spent 32 years coaching, including 19 focused on cross country. His career includes eight Section Coach of the Year awards — four in Section 2AA (2017–2020) and four in Section 8AAA (2021–2024) — as well as two Assistant Coach of the Year honors in track and field. He aims to teach athletes to enjoy the journey of the sport, focus on the process, and trust that the results will take care of themselves. Outside of coaching, he is married and has one child.
